Sister Omega, I love them and wish them good luck but it seems to be a tough group with Nigeria and Ghana in the same group as Senegal

I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE ANY CHANCE OF QUALIFYING TO THE KNOCK-OUT PHASE OF THE TOURNAMENT. WITHOUT KHALILOU FADIGA STARTING THEIR COUNTER ATTACK AS THEY DID IN THE WORLD CUP COUPLES YEARS AGO FROM THE MID-FIELD POSITION. IF YOU LOOK AT THIER ROSTER (SENEGAL) TO ME THEIR TEAM IS MAINLY BUILD ON DEFENSE (AGAING THIS IS MY OPNION AND I COULD BE WRONG) AND AS WE ALL KNOW (TRUE FOOTBALL FANS) YOU CAN MAKE THE KNOCK-OUT PHASE ON GOAL DEFFERENTIAL OR NOT MAKE IT CAUSE OF GOAL DEFFERENTIALS, THEIR IS A SAYING "DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIP" BUT NOT IN FOOTBALL, "GOAL WINS CHAMPIONSHIP". I WISH 'EM LUCK

Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls this is Sis's O's son Umarnino of the Xtratime football forum.

I believe the group will be very tough and we* have a good chance of qualifying, second that is. Essien's out so that gives us a better chance. Jtdabrick, I feel thatwe have a good midfielder in Mendy and that are team has the youth and experience to excel.

Thanx for your time and if you please would like to join more of the debates on the african football section of Xt forum. (xtratime.org then go to forums and jump to african football)

Umarnino, Fm of African football

* I consider Senegal and Gambia as one in heart despite the politics and yes it is really Sister Omega's son as my mother has no interest in football, I hope to hear from you guys soon.

Peace

Hi Umarnino, why don't you join us here on this sports forum? Some of us are more into politics you know

I have no chance of seeing any of the marches out here where I am and will just have to follow the results on the net We shall pray for our Senegalese cousins to go further in the tournament.

Guys and football -the neverending lovestory...
So today it starts again then... Looking forward (not!)to having our livingroom occupied by loud, cheering Ivorian men jumping up and down for the next 3 weeks.. I´m so THANKFUL there are earplugs and that I have my own tv during this hard time so there wont be any conflicts over the remote!
