hi sab, wasn't thinking of the gambia never travelled there then. but travelling in general, taking coins anywhere is a problem. trying change one pound coins in europe.

Greetings J – bearing in mind your postings the past six months I thought you might like to have a read @ www.cwatp.co.uk (Newsletter Nov 2005 & Fatou Ceesay – the treatment of burns in UK etc.,) & especially to the naivety & chances taken with total pandemonium at the end! Their newsletter of June 2006 is not on the web but they are in the midst of fundraising/supplying school desks to the junior school. Their trench/fencing/vegetable/gardens has also been very successful. (This is not my family) I have since met Mr Goss.

many thanks just read it, what a mess, i loved the area it was so peaceful, i had forgotten it was near casamance. during thepolcie checks they made notes of my passport in case rebels attacked. at the time i thought it was a hoot, Me but I am in Gambia what rebels. Now i will re-think my travel plans when i nxt go there
