Lierse is a well known first division football club in Belgium. Last year they just escaped from degradation to the second division and they (some players) were involved in a betting-fraude case.

SK Lierse, the Belgian 1st division football team of the Gambian players Jarju and Jatta lost by 2-1 against Zulte-Waregem.
Jarju and Jatta played the last 21 minutes of the second half. From that moment on Lierse put some more pressure on the defence of Zulte-Waregem but they couldn’t change the result any more. Jarju kicked on goal from a very long distance but the goalkeeper of Zulte-Waregem saved the shot. Jarju received also a yellow card.
