Great project,the involvement in Africa at present of giant conglomerates in the telecom industry such as At &t Bt,france telecom with their sometimes extortionate charges ( I am not a big fan of Bt.) can make communications less expensive, depending on the political will of the countries involved of course!
Snippet: "The Gambia, according to the vice president, has for decades been dependent on secondary and alternative routes for its international communications through other operators in the market such as the BTs, France Telecom, and AT&T.
This, she added, has resulted in traffic imbalance, significant transit charges and resultant high call rates.
