These votes have spoken for us all. I think despite most of us are disfranchised, majority that voted favoured Ousainou's Leadership. The same in the Gambia majority who want to see the Back of the dictator want Darboe to lead and if any disputes this fact, watch out for when the pools finish count.
Some people argue only to create confussion amongst Gambian oppositions thus create more disunity against the tyrant just for their own selfish interests which is "its either me or no one else."

This kind of cat and mouse games. I have said would be exposed soon and Gambians would know who are real Yahya jammeh agents within the opposition. SOON SOON SOON!

Gambia is bigger than all of us and anytime someone says something fools atributes it to tribalism. Let it be so for time has come when sensible Gambians have gone past tribalism and its only Gambia they see therefore no amount of yelling would stop them.

That's politics and that's what politicos love

Yes when polls are closed, result is final verdict. It reflects the Bantaba community opinions, which seemingly can be considered as a method for primaries/convention poll; and qualify to be accepted/approved as fair and general consensus of community forum, to serve purpose of determining leading opposition contender endorsed to lead a united front; although few participants registered interest or can be captured during period

These opinions polls could be effective on-line or any website; and one of the methods of gathering statistics, facts and evidence; supporting simple logic of nomination/election process and what underpins Primaries or Convention as conceived by PDOIS to engage the citizenry; both nationally and internationally; to get connected to the realities on the ground; seize 2011 opportunity to participate in nation's affairs and decide destiny of nation? It is the only opportunity certain dissident citizens (especially abroad/diaspora) alienated and dis-enfranchised in forthcoming General elections 2011; could have been patronised and granted many opportunities; including participation in nomination and determining the consensus candidate with highest popular support to lead a united front for opposition, harmonise together to establish a sound well-coordinated networks for organising activities, communication, mobilisation, deployment and accountability through leaders of opposition parties forming united front together? Once a united front is formed and leadership/flag bearer addressed, all other activities from support base (i.e. diaspora) for militancy and activism can easily be coordinated; organised and have sense of direction; especially mobilise an effective aggressive campaign to raise financial and moral support for the united national front; rather than the dis-organised ineffective campaigns, tensed rivalry, recriminations, bad blood, dis-orientations, speculations, endless loud mouths, gossips, slanders, blame games, criticisms, collective failures and opponents loosing any prospects of booting out Jammeh/APRC

MY Recommended list of Methods For Mobilising Primaries/Convention for Each Constituency

1. Nationwide campaign - Series of National Congress/Convention/Primaries organised across all Regions and Constituencies; starting from Banjul to Koina and penetrating all towns and villages; additionally benefiting by making voters well sensitised, hyper and ready for 2011 General elections

2. International campaign - Save The Gambia Foundation For Democracy & Development (STGDP) started with a noble mission, conceived NADD strategy, acquainted with all Gambian Rights/Civil organisations, Gambian media, Gambian community on-line fora/websites/radios and more experienced with opposition parties and its leaders; than any Gambian rights group and civil organisation? They can market the Primaries/Convention questionnaire and any relevant information for publicity and sensitisation through its website, networking and conferencing; including financial and moral support for opposition united national front easily?

However they were under threat of UDP-UK and its partisan "Party-led" alternative strategy

If Agenda 2011 sensitised for three years was adopted and a United Front mobilised before Registration of Voters; opposition had greater chances of ironing out difficulties in this eleventh hour and would be guaranteed more vibrant effective campaign for resounding success/victory November 24th

At this eleventh hour all opponents have lost the plots, diaspora is ranting on-line toothless, militants/activist are at each others throat, fragmentated opposition, battle lost on consensus candidate and there is no united front for 2011; amongst other setbacks

ITS ALREADY LATE AS THE PROBLEMS ARE NOT ONLY ABOUT WRANGLING FOR LEADERSHIP BUT INCLUDED A LOT OF OTHER TECHNICALITIES ; FOR EXAMPLE REGISTRATION OF ALLIANCE AS A POLITICAL PARTY, NADD MOU CONSIDERED "AN OATH" AND A BAD PACT, "MERGER OF POLITICAL PARTIES" NOT IN ANY OPPOSITION PARTY MANIFESTO; AMONGST OTHERS THAT THEY CLAIMED MADE THEM FAILED ON NADD; IF WE MAY RECALL

SO WHAT IS THE COMMON GROUND OR WHETHER STATUS-QUO WILL CHANGE AS HAMAT BAH/NRP ALSO HAS MADE HIS DECLARATIONS CLEAR TO ALSO LEAD WITH "PARTY-LED"; WITH EMERGING NEW PARTIES THAT NEVER CONTESTED AND WAITED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY OF 2011
