When does freedom of association and speech amount to treason. What was Jammeh's own crime when he staged the July 22 coup? |

Your questions once again are coming from a stupid man Karamba, I did not make up the rules that if you commit a coup and succeed the Constitution could be amended to prevent the culprits from being prosecuted. Thats what Africans do so go ask the ECOWAS or UN. Mind you all this has nothing to do with freedom of association or speech in anyway, The fact is they were involved in clandestine activities and the least any Gambian should advocate for is for them to go and defend themselves whether guilty or not. Africans are Known for running away from prosecution after commiting crimes, Their Father Kukoi Samba Sanyang is a typical example. It's even worst with the Half baked illiterates parading in cyberspace claiming to be journalist when they already know that they barely finished secondary school , If the cap fits wear it!!!. Ya'll are foolish enought to all render yourselves useless and identified as run away FELONS..............................Peace |

Moe you could not do beyond this. You are so low, it is just impossible for you to conduct yourself with manners. Listen to the voice of your low life comments. Read your own comments aloud. The sound you get is yours. Will that stop normal people from reasoning? No. Fortunately the damage done is restricted. Good job for exposing your limits. |

FOROYAA ON JULY 22ND - THE GAME OF POWER AND SELF-PERPETUATING RULE
"It is obvious that the 1997 Constitution stands for the establishment of a sovereign Republic under which power is derived not from the barrel of a gun but from the consent of the sovereign people.
It is true that a few people could take power from the few which happens during a coup d’etat. However, few people cannot take power from the people if they are fully organised and conscious of their collective authority to determine their manner of Government.
Instead of a National conference they established a quasi monarchical government known as the AFPRC which imposed its rule by decrees on the people. It is only through popular demand that they were compelled to return the country to its owners at a referendum which ushered in the Constitution of the second Republic on the 16 January 1997.
Why should we commemorate a day when the Republican constitution was suspended, freedom of expression suspended, the right to elect representatives put aside and many people taken into captivity with impunity?
Days to commemorate are 18 February 1965 when we attained the right to self-determination, 24 the April 1970 when the first Republic came into being and 16 January 1997 when the second Republic came into being."

INTERESTING QUOTES;
1. "President Jammeh clearly told the people he does not care about elections because he did not came to power through the ballot box." 2. “Elections will not make me to lose power nor will military coups make me lose (my) grip on power. It is only the Almighty Allah who made it possible for me to come to power in 1994 in a bloodless coup (and who can remove me).”"
3. THE CONSTITUTION OF THE GAMBIA STATED;
"Our hopes and aspirations as a people were reflected in the enthusiasm and zeal with which we embarked on the task of nation building on the attainment of independence. The self-perpetuating rule of the recent past, however, soon gave rise to the abuse of office and related vices which negated the total welfare of the Gambian people. The sovereign people of The Gambia therefore endorsed the change of government on 22nd July 1994 to rectify such evils"
4. AN ANALYSIS FROM A GAMBIAN LAWYER By Lamin J. Darbo, JD, London, UK Treason: The Criminal Offence Dr Amadou Scattred Janneh did not commit
5. ONCE UPON A TIME! IN AFRICAN HISTORY AND POLITICS THERE WAS THIS POWERFUL GENERAL AND RULER, WHO ENTER DEMOCRACY BY ACCIDENT, CAME TO POWER TWICE ON A COUP AND DECLARED HIMSELF AS GOD SEND IN GHANA AND THEN WHOLE KINGDOM WAS SUBJECTED TO THE SAME STORY FROM "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED"; AS FINALLY Former President Jerry Rawlings Suffers Humiliation And Gets Democratic Shower - By Kofi Akosah-Sarpong |

Thank Kobo, but please don't expect Moe one of the consumers for this clear truth. Jammeh saying that election and coup will not lift him from forceful power says it all. remember he was the one who also said that politicians are dirty people. By that account he remains a very clean man so to put it.
Moe, your world outlook is your position. Normal people understand your frustration but rather unhelpful; for you are beyond redemption. For a clever grown up person like you, knowing that everyone else belong to the fools' wing, why don't you carry on your business and leave fools to wallow? That way , your graded wisdom will avail mankind greater opportunity to advance planet Earth. Clearly put, you have no job other than looking after fools. Be warned not turning into a fool as your empire of the unwise expands. When you are through with your job of keeping every fool on track, let us know where that leaves you. |

Remember the RATS and the Man with the Flute, I think he got rid of all the RATS in that story for they loved his tunes. Same here Karamba different it's just a different time zone and era. Once I'm done I let you know where that leaves me ,
You think Jammeh is lying when he stated that NO COUP or ELECTIONS can remove him, well show me that formidable Opposittion that can remove him or the Coupist ready to sacrifice everything. It's none existent, What Jammeh knows is that he has reached the APEX and cannot be dislodged by any means simply because thats what the system in place allows, so was the case with Sir Dawda and any NAFEEHA that tells you it's untrue is a liar, Gambia should have never advocated for the system in place but thats exactly what each and every politician wanted including all members of the OPPOSITION. Everyone thought Jammehs days were limited,and opted for a tailor made constitution.....................................Peace |

Are you playing the tunes like the Pied Piper of Harmlyn? No doubt you sound melodious I have no doubt many on this wide Bantaba platform enjoy your tunes. Carry on then. I will warn Kitabul Arerr not to tamper with your settings. |

this little sideshow is a real comedy circuit. Check this out the legitimate President of The Republic of Gambia is Yaya Jammeh. Now I know for some of you'll are stuck in a time warp and haven;t been able to recover since July 22nd 1994. When your world was turned upside down and since then you've been walking on your hands ever since. Still the fact remains the APRC will win the next election in shallah, whether you scream and try to deny the truth from now until 2016. The APRC has been in power for 17 years and the opposition has disintegrated ever since Jammeh reached Statehouse. No amount of BS in cyberspace isn't gonna stop Gambians at home voting for Jammeh. What has the opposition delivered to the people in any constituency they've held. Oh excuse me I forgot the majority of the major opposition leaders thought it was beneath him to represent his constituents in their daily work in representing their constituents instead the internet has been the politic football pitch. But let's face it their strategy is getting very stale. So KKK keep screaming make your fonts the largest size in bold red. All it shows is futility and not a solid commitment to nation building.
