Stay the night
Its a fright
The dark is not right
Should be bright
Not so tonight

Stay the night
Within sight
See the light
With delight
Horror is my plight

Keep away this fright
It ain't right
To be so bright
On other nights
But so dark tonight
Stay the night
To my highest delight

Wait with me to night
Till dawn alight
Ushering in much light
Sending away my fright
Of the dark night

Kaan, you are on form Man.

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.

Thanks but in some circumstances a man can get overloaded with extra honours, which can bring confusion, especially if they are not warranted.

Some here may take exception to your words, but to receive praise from a good poet, how can they ?

I still do not consider myself a poet much more a good one as you just passed me that accolade. Thanks any way for making my head swell which means that you have given me a boost qualifying my earlier remark about you being my inspiration. I shall accept the title of rambler in the wilderness with pride and think there shall be no worries about that title as for me it suitably describes my status as it were. thanks again for being so kind in your apprecaition of what post here.

A challenge worth taking this is; as I always tell myself " I will try " which became my motto, so too would i strive to come up with one as you suggested. Please bear with me for a while.
