Bev Im glad I inspired you. while I have always been interested in travel and other places and cultures.
What inspired me on more recently and as I’m in the autumn of my life and more years behind me than in front? Was the film THE BUCKET LIST a very moving and poignant film realy realy good I would suggest if you can in fact or any one on bantaba to get it. Things to do before you kick the bucket many of which I have now done for instance sky dived and climbed a mountain. Those being the most adventouse things My traveling started in the early days of the package tour going to such places as Malta Spain Italy North Africa Tunisia morocco Egypt.
My youngest was only 18 months old when he first went abroad I have always encouraged my children to travel as I really do believe travel broadens the mind in so many ways. When my 2 children came of age to fly the nest I used to say to them the world is a big pizza go and grab a slice of it and indeed they have My daughter has a very nice life style and now lives in in America and my son a successful international commercial photographer and now travels the world
We have so many great memories one of the more unusual was when I was into post vintage classic cars I purchased a post vintage double deck hears and put a mattress in the top half and camping gear in the bottom and me and my son did a 3 month grand tour of Europe and at all the border crossing we never got stopped once lol

Good job it was Europe snuggles,you would be broke if it was Africa,just imagine the conversations........
