Will Edward Singhatey be eligible to sit when his former co-conspirators are brought to book?
I doubt it. He's eligible though, to stand in the dock, where he belongs.............................lol!

NO takers then, well I did my own research which pointed here:

http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=4401

some posters there called his leaving a "political trick",was that correct in view of his new appointment.?

Anyone going to post now? Ah well I did try.

Edward certainly may have committed some crimes against his fellow soldiers during Nov 11 crackdown.

He was also heavily accused of being involved in killing Ousman Koro Ceesay... It would be great to have some people who have inside information about his involvement in the Koro case come out and tell us more about this guy...

One think I know he seems very determined to make a comeback. For him to allegedly commit such a crime against one of the best citizens we ever had, and then he return in a public forum like the courts, he must have something to say!!!

He also seems to have a different mindset because in Gambian society for someone to rose up to the rank of Vice President and then come back to sit in class and return as a judge also tells a different story about this man...

There is something mysterious about him that needs investigation. I wish Journalists on the ground can interview him!!! or someday I will have a chance to look him in the face and ask him... Did you have any hand in killing Ousman Koro Ceesay??? Gambians want to know!!!

A dark cloud appears to be surrounding this man who is difficult to understand, one thing is certain he wants to be seen to be a part of Gambian public life,I wonder if he can be a fair and just magistrate ?, his work in his new role will give us the answer when his cases are reported in the press, who knows he may be the one to show that a softer touch is being offered by the administration who themselves are looking over their shoulders at the rising of people in the arab world and Africa.

Since the "justice dept." are hiring impartial magistrates, they might as well come to Bantaba and hire our MOE to handle all political cases!

No wonder he's clinging to power, Prince. The exclusive good life, totally foreign to the "BIG Man". From rags to riches, through a coup, mark you!
Yahya Jammeh has achieved his goal, now it's time he leaves us alone. Damn it!.....................lol!
