A very good well written interesting article from The Point News;

We Are One: Let’s look beyond politics and build a more peaceful world The more you look at our differences, the more you realize that we are the same Author: Abdoulie Sey Tel: 3655505

Published on Tuesday, December 17, 2013

Politics or the art of government is one of the most important and cherished features of civilization. The invention of government has enabled people to harmonize society and forge a collective agenda for the common good.

This is at least what all governments claim to stand for. It is this innate human desire to find strength in numbers and build security in togetherness that gave rise to nation states run by governments. The politics of these governments go a long way towards fostering peace at home and peace with their neighbours. However, it is fascinating to realize that in this age of technological wizardry, massive wealth, unrivalled scientific knowledge and better awareness about justice and equality, the world is increasingly becoming unequal and intolerant. Poverty, hatred, injustice, disease, corruption and arrogance are as prevalent as before, if not worse.

The sorry state of the world today is a direct result of what I call the ‘politics of denial’ and the failure to look beyond this kind of politics. Denial in the sense that the world’s political players, both state and non-state actors, by their actions and words continue to deny the simple truth that all human beings, never mind their religion, race or geographical location share the same aspirations in life; the desire to be delivered from deprivation and despair.

The politics of today pays little service to the collective human good. One can argue with confidence that every nation is bent on prospering at the expense of others, deliberately ignoring the obvious fact that the solution is looking beyond the divide. That is looking beyond politics. Dividing the world into ‘democracies’ and ‘non-democracies’, ‘backward’ and ‘advanced’ societies is a grave misrepresentation and a failure to recognize our common denominator- humanity....

1. The Scientific Quest to Prove Bisexuality Exists

Gay distrust of bisexuals has a long history: The first officially recognized gay organization, the Society for Human Rights, founded in Chicago in 1924, tried to exclude them. In the 1990s, groups like BiNet USA (a national bisexual advocacy organization) began successfully lobbying reluctant gay groups to add the “B” to their names, even as bisexual men were blamed for spreading H.I.V. to women. In 1992, a gay journal spoke for many in the gay and lesbian community when it wrote skeptically about bisexuals under the headline, “What Do Bisexuals Want?”......

...compared with their exclusively homosexual and heterosexual counterparts, bisexuals have reported higher rates of depression, anxiety, substance use, victimization by violence, suicidal ideation and sexual-health concerns. Dodge blames many of those problems on the stigma and discrimination that bisexuals face. “Put simply,” he said, “it’s not easy to be bisexual.”.....

BBC NEWS UPDATES: Very Strong Reasons People Oppose The Gay Marriage Law.

2.The people who oppose the gay marriage law

As the same-sex marriage law comes into effect, who are those that oppose it and what are their reasons?

Sometimes the debate on gay marriage has been polarised, casting those who supported the measure as the right-thinking and those who opposed it as irrational and guilty of tacit homophobia.

The law to allow gay marriage passed quickly and there are those who still feel they have not had a proper chance to air their concerns......

3. The gay people against gay marriage

After France's first same-sex marriage, and a vote in the UK Parliament which puts England and Wales on course for gay weddings next summer, two US Supreme Court rulings expected soon could hasten the advance of same-sex marriage across the Atlantic. But some gay people remain opposed. Why?

"It's demonstrably not the same as heterosexual marriage - the religious and social significance of a gay wedding ceremony simply isn't the same.".....

I forget to mention why the need for gender change? Also examples about; fingers, licking, 69, gadgets etc and you say its NATURAL SEXUAL INTERCOURSE; leaving out our most important organs for natural sexual activity and defining sex: (for the masculine and feminine gender)! Am coming back on rassimian's last post/comments above ("Posted - 19 Feb 2014 : 12:57:38" expressing his frustration on morality and attacking religion; especially Islam) and then elaborate on secularism (focusing on LBGT human rights legal claims of an OPEN SOCIETY)

STOP DEHUMANISING PEOPLE.

What about those who choose to wear hijab and engaged in polygamy, harassed by BIGOTS? Are they not "good people"?

"LOVING RELATIONSHIPS" LIKE WHAT? KISSING, CUDDLE AND HAVING UNNATURAL SEX!

ANYONE WHO WANT'S TO BE GAY/HOMOSEXUAL, MARRY ANYONE, CELIBATE AND ENGAGE IN EITHER MONOGAMY OR POLYGAMY CAN DO SO! ALSO THERE SHOULD FREEDOM OF CHOICE FOR EVERYONE UNDER SAME UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS TERMS BUT HEY CHARACTER OF HUMANS AND NATURE OF SOCIETY IS COMPLEX!

OF COURSE GAY/HOMOSEXUALS ARE HUMAN BEINGS (EQUAL) AND "GOOD PEOPLE" BUT THE FUNDAMENTAL ISSUE ON GAY/HOMOSEXUAL IS HAVING UNNATURAL SEXUAL ACTIVITY (COPULATION); FOR EXAMPLE ESPECIALLY BETWEEN MAN TO MAN. WHERE TO PENETRATE AND PUT THE SPERM? = ANAL OR MOUTH. ANTI-NATURE RIGHTLY MORALLY CONDEMN AS ABOMINATION AND FILTHY! FOR THIS REASON OF COPULATION (SEXUAL INTERCOURSE), IN MY OPINION GAY/HOMOSEXUAL PRIVATE AND SOCIAL RELATIONSHIP OR LIFESTYLE (UNDER THE GUISE OF WHETHER LOVE & MARRIAGE) SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TABOO AND STRONGLY FORBIDDEN IN GOOD SOCIETY!

IS THAT VIEW AND OPINION ON LBGT "DEHUMANISING"? THEN WHY CAN'T SOCIETY CONDONE PERVERTS, INCEST AND BESTIALITY UNDER SAME TERMS OF HUMANITY? ALL OF THEM IS ABOUT SEX AND LUSTFUL RELATIONSHIPS

SHARING A FANTASTIC JOKE AND FOOD FOR THOUGHT
quote:
"A man and his wife were arguing about gender. Who is greater? Men or women.

Wife: Men are the head but women are the neck, without the neck, the head cannot stand. Men were created out of dust but women were created out of bone. Also, anything man can do, a woman can do it better. And in the life of any successful man there must be a woman.

Man: A woman is not complete without a man because you cannot spell "woman" without "man". You cannot spell "she" without "he". Nor "Mrs." without "Mr." Nor "madam" without "adam". And one more thing, why is it that we say "aMEN" in the prayers instead of "aWOMEN""

SOURCE: Akpos (Unknown author)

Naturally/biologically we are born as either a man or woman (i.e.with opposite qualities having male organs or female organs) and in very rare biological/natural hermaphroditic cases (i.e. with neither any of them can be exclusively considered a man or woman fully. A bisexual, with two opposite qualities of sexual organs are combined.) one may be trapped in the wrong body.

Our natural body defines us individually (i.e. physical appearance and gender/sex - male or female) and not the moral values, our mind-set or psychological orientation nor the systems of society or social systems; including any world order, establishment, government, religion, ideology, secularism, movement, institution, class, creed, conviction, persuasion; inter alia.

GENDER: Dictionary.com QUOTES;

" The number of genders in different languages varies from 2 to more than 20; often the classification correlates in part with sex or animateness. The most familiar sets of genders are of three classes (as masculine, feminine, and neuter in Latin and German) or of two (as common and neuter in Dutch, or masculine and feminine in French and Spanish)."

NEUTER: "Noting or pertaining to a gender that refers to things classed as neither masculine nor feminine" OR " having imperfectly developed sexual organs."

Here we go again. The bias shown against homosexuality by most religions including Islam and Christianity is based on historical and scientific ignorance ,in other words a complete lack of understanding. Kobo, your quote about Sexual Orientation is WRONG. Sexual orientation is NOT a life CHOICE. We are born with a certain sexual predisposition ie. heterosexual,homosexual ,in the wrong body (transgender)There is plenty of evidence to show that from an early age people are aware of their sexual orientation. The fact that gay men marry and have children only shows what is biologically possible. Being Gay and coming out is not easy for both men and women given the reaction by religious societies. I'll tell you what I really hate and that is any religion that claims it is " loving,compassionate,forgiving or understanding towards all mankind" when in fact they show no tolerance towards anything that threatens their control over their 'believers' As far as homosexuality goes it existed way before the Bible or Quran or any other book was written.It is not a 'western' thing as some people claim and is as prevalent in India, China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Gambia, Uganda etc as it is in the UK,France, Spain or the US. Just imagine if heterosexuality was treated like homosexuality because it was a minority practice. All that hatred, for what, because you were born that way ! WAKE UP and educate yourselves. Don't accept blind faith. Question everything! Ah no you can't do that can you. Cos your religion controls you . You are not a free man. Ignorance is to be pitied but at least I understand why people hold the views you do. Islam needs to move forward into the 21st century as does certain sects within Christianity but unfortunately this ain't gonna happen ant time soon. Nuff said !!

"THINK OF THAT"

Think of what, Kobo???
All you have done is churned out the same old tired bigoted arguments that we've heard a hundred times before

I don't think you understand and get my point on sexual intercourse from MY STATEMENT that:

"In copulation (i.e. natural sexual intercourse and penetration) the male organs function for special purpose and likewise female organs; both sexes fully satisfied with benefit to sustain life through reproduction. Think about that"

POINTS TO NOTE: THAT;

We are human beings (homo sapiens) but naturally there are only two species (of male & female gender) but all male have same organs likewise female. Therefore "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights....

Also fundamentally these are the main and only natural instincts we equally share in common; eat, drink, sexual intercourse, excretion, sleep, life, growth, reproduction & death.

But different mindsets (i.e mental phenomena or psychology of the individual) influence human behavior, attitudes, appetite (desire, pleasure), belief, opinion, creed and sense of perception;among others. Therefore my points on SEXUAL INTERCOURSE (TO POINT OUT NATURAL THINGS WE SHARE IN COMMON) does not make me a bigot

I don't think sexual intercourse (canal or by penetration) is not happening or not important between gay/homosexual couples. Then how is adaptation of gay/homosexuality lifestyle or orientation different and morally right or good in society better than incest, bestiality and perverts; if it's all about craving for the natural love for SEXUAL INTERCOURSE. HUMANS EITHER INDULGE IN CANAL SEXUAL ACTIVITY (SEXUAL INTERCOURSE) OR ABSTAIN FROM IT. THAT IS LIVING BY VIRTUE OF CHASTITY (VIRGIN / CHASTE) OR UNCASTE

ALL MY STATEMENTS ARE WITHIN THE BORDERS OF SENSUAL PLEASURES; ISSUES ("pertaining to, inclined to, or preoccupied with the gratification of the senses or appetites; carnal; fleshly; chastity; (may be) lacking in moral restraints; lewd or unchaste.")

It is important to understand these terms because SEXUAL ORIENTATION is preference, fondness, predilection or tendency to think favorably about sexual partnership(between two individuals) and its A CHOICE formed in the HEAD or MIND POWER and personal appetite;

BOTTOM LINE IS ALL ABOUT SEXUAL INTERCOURSE AND WHICH IS NATURAL BUT NOT A TABOO

Then it's the usual demonisation of the "gay community" by linking them with paedophillia, rapists, beastillity etc, etc, etc,etc,.

Sexual predators constantly on the look out for the next sexual conquest so they can satisfy their uncontrollable lust

Kisley what is your point and gay campaigners on EQUALITY in this campaign for "ALL OUT EQUALITY EVERYWHERE"? You have to understand that the human race and/or NATURALLY all living things are classified into male and female species. ALL MALE/FEMALE ARE EQUAL BUT THEY CANNOT ENGAGE IN UNNATURAL AND FILTHY SEX ACTIVITIES; LIKE GAY/HOMOSEXUAL SEX LIFE, INCEST AND BESTIALITY (ZOOPHILIA); TO SATISFY THEIR LUST NEEDS! ITS ABOUT MENTALITY, PSYCHE (PSYCHOLOGICAL), DESIRE, LUST, PASSION ETC; SOMETHING YOU CRAVED FOR AS YOUR PERSONAL NEEDS; LIKE CRAVING FOR FOOD WHEN HUNGRY AND WATER WHEN THIRSTY! ARE YOU TELLING US THAT EVERYONE HAS RIGHT TO SATISFY YOUR SEXUAL APPETITE

INDIVIDUALLY WE DON'T HAVE RIGHT TO DO WHATEVER WE WANT IN LIFE. WHAT ABOUT PERVERTS, DEPRAVED, EVIL AND TWISTED MINDS? WE DON'T LIVE LIKE ANIMALS AND JUMP ON EACH OTHER; IF WE WISH ANYTIME

WIKI REFERENCE.COM USEFUL INFORMATION PAGE ON Bestiality = Zoophilia

In copulation (i.e. natural sexual intercourse and penetration) the male organs function for special purpose and likewise female organs; both sexes fully satisfied with benefit to sustain life through reproduction. Think about that
