Scottish referendum: Scotland votes 'No' to independence BBC Online: Published on 19 September 2014
Scotland has voted to stay in the United Kingdom after voters decisively rejected independence.
With 31 out of the country's 32 council areas having declared after Thursday's vote, the 'No' side has an unassailable lead of 1,914,187 votes to 1,539,920.
Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond called for unity and the unionist parties to deliver on more powers.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron said he was delighted the UK would remain together and called for national unity......

It was indeed,personally I wouldn't have minded if YES won I realise that there would be HUGE financial and worldwide political implications that would concentrate MANY political minds especially the US. The people of Scotland are a different race to the English as are the Welsh and I recognise this. BUT in "Sensible thinking" the result must be NO which it turned out to be. English Laws for England now there's a bit of a sticky wicket
VOTE UKIP AT NEXT GENERAL ELECTION ANYBODY     .
