The principal magistrate at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court has informed police recruits that the court and the police work hand-in-glove to see that justice is done at the courts.
Magistrate Dayoh made this remark on Thursday at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court , as he addressed police recruits who were in the court to familiarise themselves with court proceedings. “If any of you finds himself in the prosecution unit of the force, you have to know that your duty is only to prosecute nothing more nothing less,” he told police recruits.
Magistrate Dayoh said “prosecution does not mean that every case a prosecutor brings in court will succeed in convicting that person.”...Full Report |
