LIEUTENANT SECKAN RELEASED

By Yaya Dampha

Lieutenant Saikou Sekan, who was arrested sometime in March following the abortive coup plot, has been released over the weekend.

According to the Army Public Relation officer (PRO)) Lt. Lamin Gano, Lt. Seckan was released over the weekend, and he has since then resumed work. He said people should know that not all arrestees will appear in court, because some of them might be found innocent after investigations. Lt. Gano on Thursday said, "Lt. Seckan is presently in his office at the GAF Headquarters in Banjul."

I hope the rest have justice accorded them by the constitution

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”
