BASIC EDUCATION EXAM RESULT OUT

10 Candidates Scored Aggregate 6
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has released the result of the 2010 Gambia Basic Education Certificate Examinations.
According to the release, the total number of candidates who entered for the examination was 19,840 students of which 9,951 male and 9,889 female.
The Top candidates are Adam Badjan and Makumba Cham of Gambia Methodist Academy; both of whom attained grade 1 in all nine subjects.
A total of 10 of candidates scored aggregate 6 in 2010.
1. 5 are from Gambia Methodist Academy
2. 2 from Ndow’s Comprehensive
3. 1 from St Theresa’s, Kanifing
4. 1 from St Peter’s, Lamin
5. 1 from Jamisa
Candidates are to receive their individual results from their respective schools.
Admission to grade 10 should be based on passes in the core subjects to be decided by boards of governors and not exceeding aggregate 42.
