Dictatoer jammeh bribes G. Bissau authorities with 2 billion cfa, 40 toyata pickups, a Nissan jeep and 500 tones of rice(www.freedomnewspaper.com)just to lay hand on kukoi,
While Gambian police are failing to turn up at crime scenes due to lack of vehicles.
While gambias are struggling to buy a bag of rice.
While poverty is visible on every gambian's face over here in The gambia.

I am very sorry but I have my doubts on the freedom online newspaper,is this fact, propaganda,or true? we are all aware of the devious goings on in politics (everywhere ! ) if true ,it seems a very high price to pay,if true,the question has to be asked where did this vast amount of money come from,I doubt if it was from the Gambian taxpayer !

| Toubab well this is NOT an editorial, but an alleged interview with Kukoi himself who confessed to have seen the said consigment.Going through the interview,I have no doubt that the editor was interviewing Kukoi Samba sanyang.Are you asking where the money is from? are you aware that the drug caught in The Gambia recently is valued more than the National budget? Incase you forgot that In the Gambian today jammeh is immune from all accountabilities.He have access to the national coffers as he wishes.Toubab may be some of your Airports tax contributed to it, don't rule it out. |

With all due respect Dembish, you are just making a storm in tea cup here. Koukoie is lying through old teeth again. He is making his life waaaaay more valuable than the ONE bag of rice it is worth.
Two billion CFA is like $4million dollars, you can't even imagine how much 45 trucks cost, and 500T is approx. ten thousand bags of rice. Who the hell would haul all that to a hostage swap venue. And no, it wasn't at the general's office either, I saw his office (pictures of the bombing which led to the Gen. death). The place was too small to hold such a huge amount of Cargo.
For the price diabolical Koukoie is claiming, he won't know what hit him; A whole battalion would be standing on his ragged azz door steps in the next 2 hours. There are people in West Africa willing to transport tons of cocaine for the ludicrous price he mentioned...moving Koukoie would be a needle to them.
So please, YOU sir Dembish, should not let passion blur your judgment. |

| Being an outsider and only responding to what has been posted here,I must say that I cannot really believe the fantastic amount that is claimed to have been given.You know and I know that problems are often solved in a very much cheaper way than the report suggests.Until further reliable information comes to light.Prince has hit the nail on the head. |

How did Kukoie Know the exact amounts of payments in a shady deal to extradite him to Gambia. | In as much as we hate Kukoi,we should be able to analyse that interview and take the SENCE out of the NONSENCE.I personally abhore the man (Kukoi), yes some of the point he stressed in that interview are facts.Jammeh will do any thing at any cost to remain in power and offcourse the reason why he does not work with Kukoi was as he himself put it,out of disagreement,there by making him a threat to the jammeh's goverment automatically.I think there is sence in that, and going by the interview Kukoi himself was fooled by Nino to Bassau just to be handed over to Banjul.This must have involved some bribes as jammeh is best at to Nino, and we all knew the relationship between Nino and Dictator jammeh. |
