The Freedom newspaper, of course my bible, has reported that Richard Chenge has been picked up by the Gambia's notorious NIA and has since been helping with the investigation of alleged drug baron, Sillaba Sammateh's escape to the Netherlands where he is a naturalized citizen. You see the good thing about the Gambia is that nobody is too big to fall. Well of course they can always "bouce back", its the Gambia you know... . So Richard Chenge may have finally got some 'change' from the Chairman, huh?

Conflicting reports though, from FNP's nemesis, Senegambia News, that the mercenary lawyer, DPP Chenge, ia on "strike", regarding unpaid "back-pay". Whatever the truth, something is bubbling in the courts.................................lol! http://www.senegambianews.com/article/Latest_News/Latest_News/Chief_Prosecutor_Colleagues_on_Strike_for_Backpay_Pay_Us_or_Well_Not_Work/19192
Seems not likely. It would be the wrong time, only after Sillaba (defense witness) absconded? Besides a judge's strike, especially a judge of Richard Chenge's calibre, for lack of pay has never happened before. But either way, striking against Jammeh for lack of pay at these stage of these important trials will be suicidal for Mr. Chenge. Sabotage? That will send straight to Mile II, not at the NIA office. |

No extra time, Moe, when the score is 1:0. It's called cheating, trying to "cook" the Board, You should know better. Just respect the results!
BTW, I'm impartial, regarding their slugging contest, i.e FNP vs. SGN........................................lol!

Things could have improved in the Gambia had not my favorite Gambian "left". And so "The Game" goes on, and no I won't explain further.

In Treason Trial [version]v.2.0 Has DPP Chenge Bounced Back? Weird......................................lol!
"......The prosecution has filed this indictment together with six witnesses and, according to the DPP, the witnesses are all prisoners. The same thing applies to the accused, who are also detained there," Mboge submitted.
He further submitted that the prosecution's application for an adjournment lacks merit, and that it would take a few minutes for the state, with all their apparatus, to bring these witnesses to court.
He, therefore, urged the trial judge to dismiss the prosecution's application for an adjournment.
DPP Chenge replied that this matter came up not a long time ago, and that it is natural that there can be lapses. He added that they needed a considerable time to proceed with the matter....." http://thepoint.gm/africa/gambia/article/in-treason-trial-judge-frowns-on-prison-officers Friday, July 02, 2010 |
