With so much drugs flowing around Gambia, the nation's president advised youth to drink palm wine and stay away from cocaine. Are we missing something out?

Karamba Bayil Fenn , he said drugs! why you gotta spice it up bro. Two franchises are working nowadays Kayjatta's winery and school of palm wine tapping and Moe and Shaka's Palm Wine Factory. Why do you think Shaka is so busy , the business is all good except for non paying drunks like my boy Santafara.....................................Peace

Hey palm wine sounds great to me! See I knew something good will finally happened in the Gambia. The Chairman's business model is shifting to palm wine now, made by the 'Kanilai Bakery'. Better than cocaine!!
Moe, he actually said it. He said that from now on, "only palm wine made by the Kanilai Bakery will be used. No more cocaine."

Moe, lions don't feed on grass, so you too must stop feeding on captain Jammeh's concoction.

The situation as it stands is one where captain advised young people of Gambia to stay away from cocaine, assuring them there is enough palm wine from Kanilai forest to quench the nation of alcoholists if they stay away from drugs.

I would want you consider accepting this one as it stands, in order that your title of Bantaba lion is defended. Once you continue to feed on the captain Jammeh stuff, it may turn you from a lion to a desparate he-goat (baiy bu jaahle.)

I want to see the lion of you. It is a fitting avater you have to guard. Stay your hard grounds so that as captain slides into wet mud, you remain standing.

Next task is for you to warn captain against the dangers of youth indulging in palm wine drinking. All along, Shaka mentioned about this palm wine industry and now we can confirm captain is certain to serve the nation.

Kay is right, captain actually recommended palm wine to replace drugs.

One would imagine that captain does read Bantaba as he likely tends to respond on occasions.

No dependence on any drug is good whether a prescription drug, alcohol, cigarettes or hard drugs.
Moderate use of alcohol seems to relax people without too many problems.
Addiction is another issue.
Is alcohol addiction 'better' than drug addiction? Who knows?
It is best to never be in the position where a substance controls you instead of you controlling the substance.

Many young men seem to be waaaay ahead of Jammeh. Almost every other local chump I encountered at popular night hot-spots was hanging on to a bottle of Guinness!

But seriously, Cocaine dealers should be dealt with south-asian laws; dada=death. Put all drug dealers before firing squads within 3 months of capturing them.

The fastest way of ruining a country other than bombing it is by tolerating hard drugs! Western laws are useless when dealing with hard drug dealers.

Yes Moe I'm a moderate drinker most of the time!
When I am in Gambia I drink Jubrew and the odd glass of white wine.
I don't really like fizzy soft drinks, so the other choices for me are water or a cup of tea.

My ex husband was a alcoholic and addicted to his prescription pain killers. Very sad to see what it has done to him. He is still a nice person, just has an addictive personality and that is very difficult to live with.

For any leader of government to advise drinking sounds irresponsible. Addiction is bad enough. Drinking can be harmful.

Is captain president Jammeh against cocaine but recommending alcholism? Who is the biggest cocaine dealer in Gambia more than chairman Yaya Jammeh?

Unlike Cocain, Chunk Kom! is good for the body, and I salute Jammeh for being a visionary.
Please don't call me the devils advocate...............................................lol

It's called "Chunk Kom" Kitab, Ask Kay and he will tell you all about it , meanwhile I must admit it is the only way forward. Drugs have become a menace in Gambia, Obviously something has to be available less harmful and legal for the Youth man. I know several Senegalese guys who needed a town trip out of the Daaka after an evening of nothing but Niceness. "Nature" as we fondly called it is heavenly, you get to notice things about mother nature that you would have otherwise missed. The Senegalese dude kept saying "Mais lee dang Koi sawww rekk dula mandi lore" when it fermented in his stomach was when the "Grand" came out and then he passed out, needing a ride home.......................................Peace

Kitab I just want to know something and maybe it caught your attention too. I think Gambians are some very bored people, for instance Jammehs joke about the zero tolerance policy and knowing Waa Banjul and their love for Irie, He joked after reiterating that there will be a zero tolerance for drugs and if anyone loves IRIE so much that they cannot quit smoking on the "cheeba" maybe they should resort to Soum Soum which is legal, that was some funny shiit on the other hand The Almodou Mourit (Mourit) is talking about death related to alcoholism, and drunk driving, Gambians are some queer beings. When was the last time anyone seen a fleet of vehicles parked at the "Daaka" which has no access for vehicles a local hang out spot. The propagandist ran with it and said the president was advicing supporters to drink wine. I just wanna know whats wrong with these people for real?................................................Peace palm is available
