I checked the avatar on the list, but it is not there. Is it only available to you? Because of the message it carries, it will be nice to have it in the general list of avatars available.
thanks, yj |

Yes, it is only available to me just like your egret. I have thought of reserving it for Concort. |

Not fair at all! I thought Tamsier and I needs it more than Concort. I am sure you or Concort don't mind sharing it. I am fine with egret being generalized, with a bargain to have the Criterion avatar being generalized as well. Ps. let me know if it is a good bargain, otherwise give us another Quran avatar as time permits you.
thanks,

Should I send my picture to Mamadou to make it available as an avatar, so you can use it as your hero? |

Turk,
greetings.
Thanks for the offer, but I would rather not be associated with any person in that way. A Quran or egret is just fine for me - simple as well. It doesn't mean you are not a hero. Simply has to deal with my personal desire. Sorry to disappoint you (laughs)
"Simple is good" & have a nice day.

Dalton1, you can get the avatar if you insist. However, there are some new Islamic avatars you can look at first.
We have started reserving avatars because it is confusing when two members use the same avatar.
Turk, you are welcome to send your favorite photo and we shall reserve it for your profile.

Thanks Momodou
For now I will stick to my hero. I will think about it though. |

Kiwi, I think I will stick to the original this time. I will let them have the rest. I have only been drinking some West African tea with ginger after due to brief common cold. |

Momodou, it would be an honor to have such an Avatar. Afterall, Dalton1 has his famous egret which we all admire here at the Bantaba and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't risk surrendering it to someone else. Word is that Kayjatta will snatch Dalton1's egret once he switches to something else. Beware Dalton1.

No I don't want Dalton's egret, he can keep it. I have never followed cattle before, although all my uncles did. My maternal grandfather was a huge cattle owner and all his male children were gainako's at some point. It would however be great if Momodou could get me either one of my heroes in the order of (1) Einstein or (2) George W. Bush. |

Momodou, Jazzakum Allahu Khairan for the Avatar.
Kay, I respect your stance for your lack of interest in the cattle business. However, you may be missing out my friend. The cattle business is booming back home especially during Tobaski time. I bought a few sheep last Tobaski between D5,000 and D6,200 per sheep. A bag of "ngoinge" (50 kilo rice bag) was selling for between D80 to D100. Just food for thought...

Bro Concort,
I am laughing my head off on this thread. Yes, you get the sense of humor. I believe Kay too. He will give me heart-attack once he wears his George W. Bush avatar, aka 'fitnatul dazaal'.
Mawdo Momodou:
Though I will never insist, but yes I desire a Quran avatar like the one glittering, to alternate here and there with my egret. I promise you that you and Concort will both be fine. I just happen to admire it, and I do. Besides, you get my unconditional go-ahead not to reserve the egret just for me. Others can use it as well. & thanks

Dalton1, I reckon we can share this noble book of Allah. Afterall, it was revealed to our noble Prophet (PBUH) as a source of guidance for the alamin (Mankind and Jinn). I'm truly humbled by the love you exhibited for the Holy Quran and may Allah reward you abundantly in return.
