giving the guide's email & recommending him is a good thing. i know a lot of good guides but they often have problem around the tourist areas/hotels with the authorities.
i think if most of them had email and perhaps a website to offer their services online and even advise tourists before they depart for the gambia it would greatly enhance the '' gambia experience''
TOTALLY AGREE i WOULD ALWAYS GIVE A GUIDE TELEPHONE NO AND EMAIL OR AT LEAST NAME OF THE HOTEL THEY BASED AT. gO WITH THE LOCAL, PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH tour operator guide. Lamin lodge is so relaxing. Do a deal with the guides and go to juffreh, and take plenty of pencils/
