The final material shall be send to all online newspapers. Gainde has done us proud and as a show solidarity and gratitude, let us accode him that title. i hope Momodou Camara, Kayatta, Karamba, Njok, Tamsier, Dalton and all other Bantaba folks add their weigh to this effort. His inclusiveness is the unique point of onegambia, from Serere, Fula, sarahuleh, Jola, Mandingo cultural and historical stuffs are available on his site. Thanks Gainde.

| Gainde's energy, drive and hard work cannot be faulted. I have left similar remarks about this gentleman [Pa Modou] on this very site as well as on onegambia.com. He is a great ambassador in preserving our ancient history and tradition something close to my heart. I add my weight to any favourable accolade bestowed upon him. He is one of the great champions of the preservation of Senegambian history and tradition, not merely through words but through actions as well and his website is a testament to that fact. I wish more people visit his site and use the invaluable resources available there. He is a true ambassador in every sense of the word and I wish him all the best. |

Thanks Tamsier and Momodou. In fact, onegambia is expecting to do a video recording of the famous Finna Dahaba. The beard who did the historical narrative of Janky Wally Sanneh. Apperently, he still alive and kicking in Dakar. He should come to the Gambia for the recording. I can't wait to see that. I hope he will do a recording of Ansu Machine and the French colonial commissioner. Ngalen Sonko and Janky Wally in video. The website like Bantaba is spoiling us for choices. |

Thanks Suntou, for the initiative and thanks all for the positive comments. I am out of words but its really encouraging to read that we are all in agreement that we have a rich culture need to be preserved for the upcoming generation. Momodou should be commended for creating this great platform bringing us together as a family.
Just wanted to add that we are looking at doing the Finna Dahaba episode around mid April so please email questions, ideas you may want answered/included to info@onegambia.com

Thank you Santafara. I have not visited OneGambia a lot before, but after just looking it over I have realized how rich and informative (educational) it is. Great job Gainde (Pa Modou Njie) and co at OneGambia. I am pleased to add my voice to the many in recognizing your great accomplishment in promoting Gambian culture and more. The "Diaspora Cultural Ambassasdor" for the year of 2010 is a fitting decoration in acknowledgement of your great effort at bringing Gambian cultural experience to the doorsteps of so many people around the world. Thanks again for all that you guys do. |
