There are scores of experienced, educated and talented Gambians over 45 years of age who are much needed on the home front to share and guide the unfolding transformation together with the people on the ground.
It is understandable that no one wants to forfit the the social and economic security enjoyed in Europe and America but atleast a part of their time could be spent on development projects that could benefit them and some members of the population.
Some would argue that, the political climate is not conducive but, many of the compatriots are playing their part bespite the difficulties. One just needs to devise a workable strategy of survival.

I assume you are less than 45 years old. Why 45? |

I am a grand Pa.
I say 45 because I pre-suppose that those above this age group who had the chance to migrate earlier would have by now selltled their family lives and even if they don't stay permanently, they could be working in both hemispheres without much disturbance of their family stability. We need to be fair to the younger ones.
The country is in dire need of competent and commited human resources.
With solidarity, justice and love for each other, we can make it shine. |

You cannot teach an old dog new tricks. Since you a grand pa, you have a huge reservoir of knowledge that i cannot swim across let alone drain. You are urgently needed at home. You see when two elephants fight, it is th grass that suffers.
I am just a small dot in the equation. You should definitely lead the cause Birago. All i can do is to help you tighten the belt and cheer you whilst you embark on this sacred task of redeeming us.

That is sucide. But you see Biraggo is old enough to know where to hit. He has a wealth of experience that only age can give. Experience is not taught. It is acaquired over the years. |
