I am very pleased that your husband's visa has been granted,I am sure that your documentary evidence had a great bearing on the outcome. I wish you both the greatest happiness and long life together.

Denise. UK Settlement visa is not guarantee as you are just getting married. You really need to have some valid evidence that your marriage is genuine. So, support your application with pictures, letters, bank wire transactions, western union transactions, DHL receipts etc.
Even you get a settlement visa for UK, you still need to apply for work visa for France. UK visa does not give you right to work in other countries in EU. Working in another EU countries is a right for only EU citizens.
well we applied a few weeks ago for the UK visa and supplied absolutely loads of documents to prove our 6 year relationship is sound, this week my husband has been granted a 2 year visa to come to the UK. I think a good strong application with plenty of backup did it!
"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.
thanks, we just need to find a flight out of Banjul now which is not exorbitantly priced! it seems flights Banjul to UK are 4 times those UK to Banjul!
any ideas anyone on the cheapest way to buy the ticket?
Denise i'm glad your husband will now be coming. My husband has been here since May 2010 we got maried in april 2010. Unfortunately flights from banjul to uk are very expensive as you have to book them there with gambia experience...so no cheap deals.
