Missing a host of regular first team players through injuries and international commitments, a depleted Guingamp side hit the woodwork three times and just could not find a way past a tremendous Pa Dembo Touray performance in the Gambian goal. Gambia's other attempts on goal saw an early Ousman Jallow effort *****ed by William Haynes in the 7th minute and a superb Modou Ceesay solo run in the 31st minute.
