Obama came to the right city on the wrong date says environmental activists. This morning Greenpeace activists tried to hang banners on the route of President Obama during his 5 hours visit in Copenhagen. The message on the banner was "Obama, right city, wrong date". It was a challenge for the president to not only come to Copenhagen to lobby for the Olympic Games to Chicago but to also attend the coming Climate conference in Copenhagen. The activists believe that Obama's attendendance of UN Conference in December 2009 is important in order to make it a success.
Attempts to catch US President Barack Obama’s attention ended in the arrest of 43 climate protesters but they were all released later.
We hope to see him here in Copenhagen next December.

Ah, well he tried, but as we all know now Rio de Janeiro was the winner, all those building contracts and jobs that will never be now,America will have to be the losers on this one.
