Subject: AITEC Africa - upcoming events 2009/2010

Dear Colleague,

The East African Fibre Summit, which we held in Nairobi last week, was a timely opportunity for local and international experts to share their perspectives ideas with local ICT professionals at such an exciting time for the industry, with the landing of the region’s first undersea fibre cables. A detailed conference report, as well as all the conference presentations can be accessed at http://www.aitecafrica.com/event/view/44

The region’s new fibre links were also a major focus of this year’s AITEC Mozambique ICT Congress, held in Maputo over 17-18 September. Over 500 of the country’s ICT professionals participated in animated discussions on a wide range of management and technical issues. The conference presentations are available at http://www.aitecafrica.com/event/view/30

The following are our events over the coming months for you to select from for your marketing programme:

2-4 November: ComBIT AFRICA, Lagos. If you would like to propose a conference presentation for this key industry event in the region’s fastest growing ICT market, please download the Call for Papers at http://www.aitecafrica.com/event/view/48

11-12 November: OUTSOURCING & CONTACT CENTRE EAST AFRICA, Nairobi. This event is now in its fourth year and is established as East Africa’s premier BPO event. The draft programme is available at http://www.aitecafrica.com/event/view/34

24-25 November: CUSTOMER SERVICE & CONTACT CENTRE WEST AFRICA, Lagos. This conference will focus on the “soft” issues related to contact centre development with several international experts providing leading-edge presentations, workshops and tutorials on maximising human resources in customer care. The programme is available at http://www.aitecafrica.com/event/view/36

24-25 February: BANKING & MOBILE PAYMENTS EAST AFRICA, Nairobi. Mobile payments have had a revolutionary impact on the region’s banking industry. This, our flagship event for the financial services sector, is a must for all providers of products and services in this sector, so please add these dates to your new year programme.

All of these events include a specialised, focused exhibition, providing ideal marketing platforms to meet top decision-makers in a conducive sales environment.

We look forward to assisting you with your requirements (exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities or making a presentation) related to your participation in any of these business-to-business events – and look forward to meeting you at one or more of them. Please reply to this email, or call us - details below.

Yours sincerely,

Sholto Moroney
