Kings and Clowns In Clouds

King of Clowns
In his passion for crowns
He stares, and then frowns
Leans on a magic stick that is brown

When it is day it is though night
At night they feel alright
There is something to hide
Whenever the king strides

Wonders shall never end
The king has herds to tend
Dogs bark
Ducks hark

The king of clowns
The clown of kings
They all hang on strings
And the wind blown

Dogs bark
Ducks hark
We can hear
When false witnesses bear

King of clowns
Clown of kings
Not all dust is brown
On the faked crown

Out to anger
Seeking to conquer
Birds in the sky
They have right to fly

Where clowns are kings
Servants are fighters
They praise and sing
But shine never brighter

Who are we to blame
Where they claim fame
When they sit in shame
At last they stay lame

Their mouths sound sweet
Their hearts brew bitter
Their ears yearn for praise by fleet
Their eyes twist in glitter

Your bitter mind is yours
What we do and say is ours
Take what you grief
Let us stay relief

Clowns of kings
