The fact is whether ya'll like it or not the greatest amount of intellectual manipulation and prostitution is what we are subjected to these days . There is a concerted effort , well i can't say it's an organized effort ,yet it is meant to manipulate public opinion regarding Gambian politics.
I would love to call it excellent work but unfortunately it is unrelated to the world of politics like the recent editorial about the cost of Jammehs's hotel room ,the math is much to be desired coming from a half baked duck or Samba cathy Harr.I personally don't like intellectual prostitution and would much rather settle for the Truth.
Over the last few years nobody has mentioned the relevant issues affecting the average Gambian instead ya'll all busy trying to figure out how to make a name for yourselves.
Without exception, the cyber community is a big disgrace to humankind. Apart from indulging in your usual foolish rhetoric,the fact is nothing has been done to satisfy even the most basic needs of our people or addressing issues worthy of discussion.
Most of the so called editors and run away diplomats lingering around like vultures are power-loving politicians and represent no good for the welfare of our people.Obviously you can tell me that they mean well but trust me they lack the necessary vision and direction to uplift the status of the average Gambia.
You can look around and start counting Bokarr Sey,Dr Saine,Matthew Baldeh and the rest,I dont have to continue counting , this includes the opposition since they also happen to leave much to be desired, they are hopelessly fragmented, disorganised and prone to squabbling.
As has been proven the opposition party leaders really lack vision and are driven more by personal ambition and lust for power than the cause for freedom, their choice of tactics is never the less often extremely poor.
Hiding in America and making political statements about something most of ya'll are clueless about and writing letters methodically like clowns to organizations is just as sickening. Over the years i have garnered a special hatred for older Gambians,responsible for this cowardly act.
Ya'll led a bunch of lost people to their deaths and on your way down the last mile,you discovered you were lost leaders and responsible for the demise of all these people, yet as stubborn as you are,it was a sacrifice towards your cause therefore it is relevant..................................................................Peace

I try to anyways Toubab, the fact is people are always wondering why African governments are so repressive ,and it really does not take much to find out why, when you end up with a situation such as the media being on a feeding frenzy and total disregard of the principles of journalism as exhibited by our brothers. The fact is i don't have to convince anyone that they have an agenda far from being good ole journalists. some are politicians hiding under the auspice of being journalist whilst,well i don't have to explain to anyone why Bokarr and Matthew LOVE the online blogs. When you call into question the legitimacy of African governance and institutions,whilst they are developing coping mechanism and in some instances alternative governance institutions even though the aim also is to exert their relevance and control,the fact is they are bound to fight back to protect the status quo. At present the biggest challenge in Gambia for the average citizen is security related and the leaders are no exception cos without regime security , the next best thing in Africa is always Chaos. When you end up in a situation where as the major preoccupation becomes regime security and stability just as was encountered in the U.S with the Black Panther movement ,the government is left with no choice but to do what they do best,there is a reason for every law enacted and don't let no one fool ya if pushed and shoved into a corner ,Man will use all the ammunition he's got..........................................................Peace quote:

Moe,a lot of hot air in your writings so far, can you please write down for me, in simple language (of course) YOUR IDEAS on how YOU would improve the lot of the average Gambian. |

Heaven forfend Moe that you should get rowdy with me ! I will give my opinion of the demonstrators in New York and the way they behaved.........VERY BADLY......... ANYONE who uses language as in the following quote from your piece should be ashamed and not taken seriously (if indeed those words were used):
