I think PaNderry is a great interviewer. His questions are pointed, challenging and relevant. He allowed the interviewee, Kemo Cham to answer the questions adequately instead of filling the interview with his own views like the interview of Amie Sillah on the O Magazine... Hey Moe, there is a new guy in town. Kemo Cham, the runaway Daily Observer Editor. Remeber the guy who enthusiastically penned the "July 22nd Bus" series that featured Jammeh's development projects around the country during the last "Meet the People's Tour"? True men of principle do not wait until they fall out of grace before they come out in defence of truth. True men of principle resign their posts rather than continue to assist and contribute to wrong doing or acts inconsistent with their own character... Now Kemo is spilling the beans, only after he fell out of grace and has joined the multitude of disgruntled Gambians abroad... One-by-one, they shall all fall; even Sanyang and Dibba at the GRTS. We are glad Cham is safe and sound away from the jurisdiction of the Gambia..., but I think the truth must be told, and PaNderry did a good job by challenging kemo for his role as the mouth piece of the Leviathan he is now running away from... |

Come on Kay, be honest the boy has owned up to all the things he penned whilst at the Observer. He was even brave enough to write the damning report about sanyang and his fellow cronies. If the report wasnt intercepted guess what, chief might be on his way to freedom now. Thats if hes alive still. So to me Kemo is a hero. He wasnt sacked he ran for dear life, in order to tell his story today. The wollof said and Yousou sang it, DAAW BAY RAAW SI NGORRA LA BOKKA. To flee to safety is part of heroism. Sulayman Nyang, another senegalese singer said, YENN DAYGERR BOPPAYEE, JAAY SA BAKAN LAA. Sometimes stubborness is suicide.
To me Kemo is a hero until i hear something more credible than his story. |

Madiba,
I must concur with you! This is the best interview I've read from Freedom Newspaper thanks to Kemo. If President Jammeh is serious about rooting out corruption within Gambia and shining light on its darkest sinister areas. Then it would be expedient for Chief Manneh's trial to be followed and the leads brought to light by Kemo to be throughly investigated.
Chief Manneh needs to be found and his Abductors brought to justice.
Peace

Thanks Omega ,I must say thank you K. cham for a great interview, only time will tell, and like i always say here ,you just don't know what Gambians are capable of doing!!. There you have it once again ,Yahya is not Responsible for chief Ebrima Mannehs disappearance and it's time to re-focus that energy . I will give K cham the benefit of doubt and thank him for a job well done. How do you feel now with the accusing fingers against Jammeh,When you blame a man for things he has no knowledge about ,chances are his response will be careless. The truth will always prevail and for standing up for whats right ,Kudos to your brother........................................................Peace |

Hey Kay if he was behind that brilliance ,I really admire him, I like the July 22nd Bus ,whats wrong Kay ,jealous of the bus. It was an opportunity to show all Gambians ,especially the ones from far away villages and the city boys how the APRC regime impacted life through out the country.
He worked for a pro government paper ,I don't blame him for anything ,He had a job to do and he did it well anyways. He was obviously on the verge of blewing the whistle if it's anything to go by and just for that he is the MAN.....................................................Peace quote: Originally posted by kayjatta

Moe seriously is about time you stop telling us that Jammeh is not behind the aduction of chief manneh, we don;t say he physically grabed chief, but he got the power to ensure that no stone is left unturn with chief's disappearance and it is an incumbent duty upon Jammeh as well as a head of state hence chief is a Gambian citizen who disapearance occure under his nose in the Gambia. He is not doing enough moe and that why all fingers will continue pointing at him just like Daydas case |

Tell that to Kemo Cham ,he said it and i had nothing absolutely to do with that story. Patience is the only reason why am still giving him the benefit of doubt. He said he is gonna start talking so he better run his mouth like a parrot ,he made some seriously allegations and hopefully when he settles down from his tiring run ,we will get to hear the whole story. This is cyberspace and Bantaba is the NO SPIN ZONE................................Peacequote: Originally posted by Dembish
