Project 01: The 6 Gambian journalists
Where ever one lives, one can help make things practical. It is going to be a simple project, probably ten (10) minutes of your day. By doing this, you will succeed in sending a strong and clear message to the world all over. The world all over -citizens, friends and patriots will react and send a clear message to Yaya Jammeh over the oppression of innocent citizens, notably the recent jailing of 6 Gambian journalists. In the message, notify world leaders, representatives, et cetera...that we demand that these 6 journalists be freed unconditionally, together with all other prisoners of conscience.
Here are some simple steps we can all take.
1. Gather contacts for representatives in your area.
2. Draft a simple letter that captures what is at stake, especially the jailed 6 Gambian journalists by Jammeh and his Nigerian Mercenary judges.
3. Fax, e-mail, mail or call to deliver your letter.
4. Make follow-up calls to make sure your message was received.
4. Where possible -organize a rally in your area to protest about the jailing of these journalists and other human rights abuses.
5. Should a fund-raising drive be organized for the families of the victims, send in your little contributions. Sign petitions and help pass the message around.
6. Most importantly, remember them in your prayers. Ask God to give us all absolute freedom.
7. Include a message of unity to Gambians, especially those that belong to political parties, organizations and even those that are independent.
Since any of us could have been in the shoes of these men of our times, it becomes each and everyone's responsibility to do something that will free them and all other prisoners of conscience. You should not wait for an invitation. This is a "tesito" or self-help project. By doing this, you will be giving a lot of hope to the families and associates of the victims. Your reward with Almighty God is even greater if you dare to calculate.

Down with mercenary judges!!
Forward with the Gambia and her friends!!
Note: Where active organizations and their heads wants to spearhead the project, I humbly ask all to give them the total support needed. We are all together in this...and it doesn't matter who spearheads the call, but what matters is us achieving our goals of seeing a just society prevail. It must be clearly noted, just like the genius US President JFK once asked his country men, "Ask not what your country can do for you; but what you can do for your country." Similary, we must not ask what the media,politicians etc... can do for us, but what we can do for all. As always, I am making myself available to any that has ideas as to how we can all pull efforts together to free all prisoners of conscience everywhere, not necessarily only in the Gambia.
