Very unfortunate, isnt it? The soldier that said in his maiden speech to be critised if he is found faulty is now protecting himself from the stick.
Only strong men can mean their words. Yaya is weak, childish and empty headed. He got no answer to any question that is why he is doing everything within his power to silence the media. That is the reason why he is always belligerent so that no question will be post to him incase he does not know the answer.
The strong guys are eager to face the media to dessiminate their sound idealogies. |

| I think Gambians should now know that Jammeh wants to silence all his critics so that he can stay as long as he wants. |

I have always maintained that democracry thrives by being watered with the blood of tyrants. The Nepalese people have forced their king to allow parliament to function when he decided that he was going to legislate. They got it at a price. That is SACRIFICE. No where in history have peolple been allowed freedom without some sacrifice. To expect Junkung to do otherwise is to wait for hell to freeze.
The power of the people is supreme. Some civil disobedience is necessary. People need to take to the streets and put some sense into yaya. Death will certainly come aad i believe it never comes sooner or later.
Yaya has enjoyed riding on our backs because we allowed it. We need to show him we mean business. This maslaha business will not take us anywhere. Since Gambians chose to be donkeys for Yaya to ride, then we should be prepared to be treated as such. There will never be a a saviour but our selves.
Some people have said that that will play into his hands. It looks like we are already in his stomach so if a demonstartion will place us in his hands then that is a welcome idea. Atleast we will be out of his belly and breath some fresh air. |
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.” |
