Nokiaman.I agree with you when you say," I looked at that other site and found it too busy for my eyes but no one can ignore there's more activity."

Here is much more relaxing ,but just like SKY TV in UK, bantaba in cyberspace appears to be on a loop which shows up over a predetermined period of time, the same old stuff being regenerated, does get a bit monotoneus I must admit.Dont worry though if you check over the last couple of days the usual topics are there again, I wonder where the posters went for just over a week?Oh Yes, has anybody seen MOE,or is he in Mile 2?

I also thought I might end up 50/50 UK and Gambia.
But reality takes over.... having to sell my house for less money.... needing to work more years to have any kind of pension.....family members getting seriously ill etc.

Everything in Gambia on hold for me. I've no spare cash and I am so preoccupied with my UK life I don't have time to really give the plans I had enough attention.

Also I have been taken advantage of financially in Gambia and do feel more cynical, sadly.

I'm not posting much because I don't really have much new to say.

Bev,not much to say? you know that you are missed here, too much thinking about problems will not make them go away life is hard sometimes but it always gets better, just think of those you know in The Gambia,is your lifwe as hard as theirs ? Try and post something it may make you feel better you never know.

Bev, please do not be modest, you will always have something to say, my life in UK is taking a different turn, but I still plan to visit Gambia as for being taken advantage of in gambia, we all have had this conversation in the past.
Re-group and re focus, you had taken on the education of a young girl, keep that in your heart, it was good, be focused on that positive step.

Jambo, I would be surprised if EVERYBODY has not been taken advantage of in The Gambia, although such conduct is NOT good at all, I think that consideration should be given to the fact that if you have nothing and can get something, OK even by lying, then thats a chance that you have to take, either for family reasons or selfish reasons. The giver should make it their buisiness to find out if money is being used as was intended if not,cut all contact, trust has been broken, the receipient loses everything, you on the other hand if you have been sensible lose only what you can afford to gamble ,after all life, banking, everything is a gamble, you may get run over by a bus and be dead tomorrow,no one knows.
