Can you be more explicit. Tamba is a name and that is not a good start. We ne need the last name too?

Are you referring to Tamba Jammeh of Salikeni?

or Tamba Jammeh from Illiassa?

Is Iliassa not a constituency?

I think Iliassa is also a village Konds. It appears obvious that Tamsier is referring to the Tamba Jammeh family. Tamba was a fierce, but famous (colonial)chief in Badibu. Do you remember the song: 'Tamba teh kuu nding leh noo la fo kuu baa'. I do not how it relates to Mama Tamba Jammeh though ...
One of his sons (may be a grandson, I am not too sure), called [Kebba] Jammeh was a PPP era member of parliament representing that constituency. I do not know if UDP's Kemeseng Jammeh is one of his descendants too. I think Iliassa has a lot of Jammehs who are not necessarily related to Tamba, but Tamba Jammeh's clan (descendants) remain influential political and opinion leaders in Badibu.

Illiassa is both a village and constituency.

Tamsier, Enjoy this version of Tamba Jammeh's popular song done by Jali Alagi Mbye and Band at the Kora festival in Gambia late 2008.
