He died
We cried
Some tried to cry
But failed to shed tears
Others though sat glum
Waiting with expectation to hear
Proclamation of the final truth
Testimonials uttered by those who witnessed
The life and times of the deceased
Telling it like it is
The imam sits to preach
The gathered crowd of mourners
And others who came to see him finally go six feet deep
A good riddance to bad nonsense
He lived a life of sin
Causing harm to so many
Now that he has died
They all come as one to send him away for good
The good that he did
Made some hope he gets peace in death
But others he hurt pray that he gets hell as reward
All fervent prayers from the heart
For the same person
They at that funeral gave their testimonies
The truth and the whole truth
They swore to tell
So help them God
