I'm sure this topic has been covered before but i can't find anything through the search facility.
What is the import tax on a vehicle? If i bring a vehicle into Gambia which has a value of around £15,000 do I pay a percentage on the value or a fixed fee? i realise there are charges by the shipping agency to process the goods on arrival at Banjul, but I just need the Gambian tax amount.
I'm not intending selling the vehicle only to use it for me and my family in Gambia.
small sedan cars are around D41, 000.00 import tax. Vans are cheaper. The reason is both environmental (pollution and congestion)
