Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the wisdom and counsel of the years, surrendering the things of youth. With all its sham and drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world! Be cheerful. Strive to be happy! X………..
FINALY Life should not be a journey to the grave with an intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand- an empty wallet in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming..."whoo! hoo!..what a ride!"

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.

I think the Buddhist philosophy takes some beating.
The Dalai Lamas teachings are very interesting.
It can be summed up as DO NO HARM and DONT BE TOO ATTACHED TO MATERIAL THINGS.
