Gone & gone

That elderly grandma
gone and gone for good
thy wisdom shall live
till thy kingdom ends
with thy love on scents
and you know well
that all shall depart
except O Maker -the creator
who sits on His 'Kursi'
watching over every soul.
As you depart love
take our prayers and your deeds
hold firm onto God's mercy
and swim in that 'kwathar' fountain
and enjoy the heavenly salutations
from the heavenly angels
that came to grace thee
as God's endless mercy
at the tomb's arrival
and on the day of judgment.
The poem is dedicated to an elderly Grandma we lost in Sintet this morning.The late Hawa, fondly Inna,Mam-Hawa or simply Haa was that culturally minded grandma. Her eloquence and generosity knows no bounds. As we grew up, we greatly enjoyed her company. She will tell us all sorts of stories; all kinds of jokes. She was that great traditional educator who utilized our rich culture to inculcate morals/life to the younger ones. She is survived by a large family both at home and abroad. I wish her and all the other gone ones an eternal resting. I humbly ask God Almighty to show mercy on all our parents and love ones. She will be truly missed by her immediate family and all those that enjoyed her company. R.I.P. Haa Mawdo! amen!

My condolences to the family. My they have the strenght to bear the loss an dmay God grant the deceased eternal abode in JANNAH. May we, the ones left behind stay on the path of good.
I have a faint acquiantance of the deceased. |
