Sunday was ten years old when his parents sent him from Nigeria to Sweden. He travelled with a woman who to authorities wrongly claimed to be his mother. Sunday was given a temporary residence permit for two years. The woman quite soon left the boy with a man with several children.

He just showed up coming from nowhere, says the couch of a quite famous football team for boys, and we let him play with us. It appeared that everything was not well with him, he lived on the other side of town, the coach often drove to catch him and drove him back, bought him breakfast, shoes, paid his membership. He was not naturally talented but a quick runner and worked hard. He did not get any help from home, on the contrary he had to take care of the smaller children, do the dishwashing, wash his own football clothes and distribute flysheets at the age of twelve.
He was not brilliant at school neither but he went there every day.
His story rolled up two years ago and was placed into a new family. He goes to school and is doing quite fine but worries about mathematics. Last summer his new team won a cup for boy teams of fifteen year olds.

But – now Sunday is an illegal immigrant! His case is sent to Migration Court for decision. “If I am sent back to Nigeria, people will say that I have failed or done something wrong”, he says. “My father is blind and old and my mother cant afford to send me to school. “
He has almost forgotten his parents language, Youruba but speaks a little English and is at the age of fifteen fluent in Swedish.
“I am not angry with my parents”, he says. “Only sometimes.”
