THE NEW PRESIDENT IS MAKING A CLEAN SWEEP ON SOME DECISION, THIS ONE IS ABOUT THE PRO LIFE CHOICE.

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/22/obama.abortion/index.html IT DOES NOT SEEM A POPULAR CHOICE.

Jambo, IMHO it would have been better to title this thread Obama supports a woman's right to choose! He seems like a man who is determined to get involved in a wide range of issues from transparency on White House staff dealings to Guantanamo detainees and beyond!

He's starting as he means to go on then??!!

While I am all for being pro-choice who had a direct health issue but what are we going to do about the murder of the babies just because of the 'inconvenciences a baby brings' for mama's other plans?

Here is the idea: Why not government buy these babies from the mother? Instead of killing, mother give up the babies to the government or someone else for adoption and compensated for her 9 months of pregnancy.

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

I AGREE WITH Turk, in this day and age of enlightenment, contraception, education why are there in the USA, so many unwanted children, surely something could be done to convince the mother to have the child and offer it up for adoption.
I am against abortion on grounds of financial reasons, cannot afford, have the child offer it up for adoption,
late abortions.
HERE IS THE BIG QUESTION, at what stage is a baby alive, women fought long and hard to have a say over their bodies, but now the tide has turned and some places are making it a business and charging a fortune for an abortion.
NO MAN SHOULD JUDGE A WOMAN ON THIS ISSUE.
