This is pretty serious. I have boycotted Danish products for the past two or three years and some of these comments only reinforce them.

I agree. Though the b......t produced by those MPs sounds ridiculous the matter is serious.

German media are not much better, sometimes they can easily keep up with the Danish gaucherie.
Fortunately there are (black) journalists acting as 'media watchdogs'. Have a look at this site:

This is also interesting:

But why should I send a letter to Obama about racism against muslims. Is he some kind of judge? Or has he done or indicated anything to became the protector of muslims or anyone else in the world? Are we not capable of protect myself? We do not need saviour from others. We must find the solution/leader within our community.

diaspora! Too many Chiefs and Very Few Indians.

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices.

Absolutely Turk, why address a letter to Obama as if he is here to safe the whole world. Our expectations of Obama sometimes seems unrealistic.

Send those letters to your the Denish People to dish those elected officials. If Denish people are as concious as many part of the world, they will eliminate any dumb racist politicians.

The people elect who they like to represent them. So letters should be sent to Representatives across our individual countries and not Obama.

Thanks

There is too much expectation on Obama’s presidency all over the world and this letter by the two gentlemen is no exception.

The current Danish coalition government depends so much on the support of the Danish People’s Party and this has been going on for a decade.
Since Denmark is an ally of the US, the authors want to make Obama and the rest of the world aware of the true nature of the racist politics and hence concluded with: “Therefore we sincerely hope that you will take the opportunity to raise these pivotal matters with the Danish government and point out the danger of espousing the policies of the Danish People's Party. We believe the government will listen to you if you choose to criticize the influence of the Danish People's Party when the opportunity presents itself.”
