Bro karamba,
This is one of the most emotional headlines that can hit any forum.
In south Africa, for example, the mysterious death of Steve Biko (the young courageous matyr of Soweto ) didn't come to fruition until 27 years after his death. I am sure there are people (I mean Gambians) privy to his (Deyda) manner of departure. I am sure there are some privy to those that took his life. While it may take long, I personally believe one day, one day, the truth will be out.
If one goes doing wrong, and follows back his footsteps to erase them inorder to kill/bury foot-track evidence, there will still be some evidence left, no matter what. [traditional saying] That's why I don't support any one's demise by death. Some of the ones that departed amidst "maiming" might be privy to something, .i.e. information about some of the massacres. A saddam killing by hanging, did nothing but bury evidence.
I wish Deyda and Koro, both eternal restings in peace. Those that died as matyrs are lucky. Here is a poem I wrote about them two years ago.
