i am watching the Gambian silver jubilee cerebration vedio. the event which happen in 1990 have ex-president BabanGidah has the guest of honour.did any one here attended the event? the fan-fare and flare. quiet interesting.

thanks kondo. the sad thing is, in the vedio, you see most of the late soldiers killed in the november 11 alleged abortive coup. the late Saye can be seen towering over all the other soldiers in the stadium. and ndow Njie in his militart ceremonial dress and other senior GNA officers. i guess that is the sad part. also the meeting in brikama of traditional chiefs and commissioners was also an interesting part. Jalang Demba sang funny songs and made the crowd laugh. Seyfo jalanman keiter, abu khan, commissioner juawara, and many others attended. that's life.
