Congrats fellows on doing a marvellous job over the past two year. Too often we forget to mentioned you great contributions in informing and serving as a watch dog for all of us, especially those in the diaspora.

Keep up the good work and keep on!!

Dalton can you see me the similarity in the dance between the Fulani girsl in the first video with the Hargesha people. I bet the Fulani are from the Horn of Africa into the Red Sea area. Perhaps one of the Lost Tribes.

The dance is exactly the same. I believe the fast Futa Jalon Fulani dance is not typical of the Fulani originally. Perhaps something they pick up with the natives in West Africa like the Susu tribe with who they have fought may wars.

The RITI dance is origianl Fulani dance, slow, majestic and solemn.

Enjoy.

Dearest all,

Baldeh's hands are a little tight currently, and I tasked myself conveying this message on behalf of the entire team GON. Personally, I belong here, and therefore join the many of you in wishing Gainako, its contributors and readers well, and many more years to celebrate in good health and happiness with God's guidance.

With God Almighty and you all, Gainako made it to the news stance, and kept spirits alive. Al ham dou lil lah! With God and you all, Gainako will stay to interact, inform and absorb. Guardianship and Independence will continue to be its motto, God-willing. Two years ago in this and other outlets, we witnessed the paper's birth. It has been a tough year with a lot of accomplishments and challenges, probably never enough, and a lot of sides to improve on as well. The entire team is humbled by the respect it enjoyed from its readers and contributors all over. With this in mind, the editors (associates) cannot take any more credit than we deserve from a 2nd anniversary. That's why we unanimously agreed that the readers and contributors to which we ourselves are a consortium of, unanimously own the kudos of clocking two. As we tighten our belts for the years ahead, we hope and pray as always that God Almighty and His creation will be with us in this struggle.

I have alerted the entire team of this running thread here. It is greatly appreciated. The good news is we are here to stay in search of our own niche, alongside the entire media fraternity everywhere. The sad news is the struggle doesn't have an ending place, so Aluta Continues! Gainako's celebration of a second anniversary is probably just a time to renew committment for the struggle, and not a time to be patted on the backs. If we are appreciated for our little token, then that puts more challenges to us. What it means, we have to protect that trust, that integrity, that hope, that respect, and et cetera. God willing, we will! Whatever the people wants us to do, while within our hands' reach, please task us to do it, because that's exactly the direction we are interested in.

While the complements here means a lot to us, we are careful that it doesn't bring any pride in us; that it doesn't make us feel big; that it doesn't make us lazy; that it doesn't give us a free pass or preferential treatment. We hope what we do is free from any personal aggrandizement; any name-seeking or attention. We hope that God will accept for us all the enlightenment here and elsewhere -sincerely preaching for a peaceful world, free from all vices. That until the whole world is free, we are all in captivity. Our individual freedoms, wealths, et cetera doesn't mean anything when the world continues to be in the dark. That's why we shouldn't underestimate any piece of enlightlement, so Aluta continues!!!.

Ditto Kons;
You touched me to my heart clock with your pics with a nolstalgia knowing no bounds. I know you like traditional wrestling. I will reciprocate this pictures in due course. Until then, please accept my appreciation of your widened eye (watching scope), beyond many forums, deeper in real life applications.

A LITTLE DUA

I wish you all a happy fasting month, and acceptance of our small and big deeds by God Almighty. That God we all ask for forgiveness, mercy, love, and endowment of beneficial knowledge with clean hearts' instincts. O God, make our hearts pure and purify us all from the diseases of the hearts. O God, make us not of the arrogant, the hypocrites and liars. O God, make us true believers. O God, protect us from every evil omens and difficulties. In God's name, I pray...regardless of your faith.

Kind regards with love,
Dalton (Yero)
Associate of Gainako.

The first video is about TINO DEN( which means lets continue on what we are doing. In other words, lets double up.)

Its befitting the anniversary. Like they say in Sierra Leone: "Slowly slowly, catch monkey".

The Hargesha people are the Ethiopian people. That is their local name. The dancing by the girls in the first video is exactly the same as the Ethiopina dance and the Gainako in the back ground jumping reminds me of my early days growing up herding goats and sheep. I fell in love with that video trying to cling on to something that was not there.

It is a source of renewal for me.

Kon thanks for the videos and you have made my day when I saw those dancers. Real culture is very powerful and refreshes one's mind.

Anyway, thanks to all the readers; contributors and well wishers of Gainako. You have all made the difference for the site. It is your eyes and minds that keep the sight breaking one milestone after another with a single objective of bringing top quality information for our generation.

May the Lord bless you all and your love ones.
