We all know that the only reason for McCains choice of a female vice presidential candidate is to fish for female votes.
The Republican Party does not support “positive affirmative action”, i.e. giving equal opportunity to minorities and female seeking same position(s). And there has never been a debate or a single discussion concerning the plight of the female gender in the party.
Now is the time for the Obama camp to clarify for the American people that there is a difference between tactically selecting a female candidate for votes and fighting for equality between the genders.
I hope the American people will not fall for that heartless tactic of blindfolding the voters in voting sentimentally and not for substantial politics.

Uncle Janko we hope so too, but I will not be surprise if America votes McCain in. Remember America voted for George Bush not once but twice who was evidently the most ill informed candidate at the time and even now.
The American people wants a dumb President who they can make fun of. Intelligent Presidents rarely gets into office in America, if they do, they don't last too long before they ruin them.
McCain is a formidable opponent simply because he has had a lot of love in America before this election. He was the most unlikely candidate to win the republican nomination because of his history with the party and that resonates with the people.
Make no mistake, America is still deeply racist and when you hear they don't identify with Obama's values, you wonder what they are talking about? His color and intelligence!
I am only confident that if Obama is destine to be President he will, but the road to the White house is a rough one and the Republicans are mean spirited.
Obama to me is deeply rooted in his intellectual capacity. He takes every conversation too interlectually instead of being political and hitting it home. I am voting for him certainly but I am worried for his safetly and political future. God ultimately decides and that has already been made. Lets see what is in the pipeline in less than 60 days.
