you sound like a child. You are getting older but you are getting more childish. Your problem is you are very sensitive and fragile. You take the debates here too personal. You must be stronger, that is the advice i give you. I wish you were little more mature, but I am afraid you can't be. That is your nature. |

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

I appreciate your feedback. But, please see the topic and see what we are talking about at the moment. The topic is volunteering for improving the government site. What we are talking about, totally off the subject. Meme hijacked this topic. If she has a point not related to the topic, she could have start another topic and I would have done better discussion about my idea. Memes' contribution would demotivate people. I am not going to back down, if someone mention my name, i will reply. I stand by my critism. I will get personal if people make comments on the messenger instead of message.
Back to the topic.
I have actually contact the government and one of the high level official considering possible work. If anyone still want to be part of this, they are welcome.

| Congrat Turk, that is brilliant. You have now passed the first hurdle - well done. I am not techlogically advanced so I wouldn't know were to start otherwise, I would have jumped on your boat. I am of the old school. Ask me anything about business and history - no problem, but please no technology. The people who you should have on your team must be committed, professional and well versed with a clear objective of what you are trying to achieve. Well done and good luck. |

Yes tamsier.
You can contribute too, in terms of business. For example, we can have a sponsor for the cost of the site. The sponsor could have a banner. Since this is not a commerical activity, it is always good idea to have one sponsor. You don't want to polute site with many banners right. I will pay the initial hosting costs until gambian government provide their own server for the security of their site. Than I can move the host to their server.

| State your financial projections, strategies and objectives. You can state your email address and I will email you back so you can forward it to me direct. Be ready for some probing questions. I would like to see a letter of approval from the Gambian government etc. I know you are at the initial stages at the moment, but through email we can at least start a dialogue. |

Good feedback. I do not want to take charge of financial duty and the content. The finance and content should be control by the government of Gambia. I am waiting the respond from the government officials than I will inform you, that is much better. So you deal with the Gambian government officials. For now, you can have open dialog here, but if you need more confidential info, send me a private message and further we can email to each other.
I will have staging environment during the development and that will be temporary hosting. The server cost is not going to be more than 100 dollars per year. It will be simple hosting. Than when the site moved to government, than we are talking about more serious costs. The hardware, licences of software, we are talking about 2000 to 3000 dollars initial cost. If government provide the hardware, that cost will drop significantly.
