The poem is a tribute to all mothers alive or gone. For that which they suffered on their children, May Almighty God grant them jannah.
By Dalton IN LOVING MEMORY tii tii tii reddened eyes with buckets of tear drops flooding fast burning the ebony cheeks at shine thunder cries ablaze with echoes afar, crying loud seal of pregnant clouds curtains both the moon, sun and stars on poorly inhabited earth as if hope was never born on earth. Peeping rays of friendly African sun sets and rises daily while noble angels escort God's servants to the tomb of no return then the 'kiramang katibina' and the 'munkar wanna kirr' salute that loving mother. "Ask for the first Jannah," the angels said "Ah, me! Grateful to Allah for tis mercy," she answered "It is your reward for good," they added "I am contended with what Lord Allah has given me, " she said "Then no limits on your bounties today, " the angels ended "I 'sujut' to Him[Allah] for mercy," she gratefully cried. Amen! Amen
