Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

western humour, probably on a par with western ideology-incomprehensible and probably not funny! their loss.satire, irony, sarcasm. the stuff of britishness.the backbone of blighty. the spirit of this sceptred isle. shame about the knife crime, the weather, the alcoholic rampaging, the feral youth, the fuel prices, the cost of housing, the mrsa infested hospitals, the benefit scrounging, the ladette culture, the violence, the loss of family cohesion, the unmarried mother rate, the level of divorce, the gun crime, the burgeoning jail population, the teenage pregnancy and abortion rate, muffin-rolled, pasty-faced piglet girls on crack, the rubbish transport system, the battleground schools and their substandard educations, the exorbitant price of food, cigarettes and fuel, the stealth taxation, the general taxation levels, the lying, hypocritical politicians, the dodgy foreign policy, the racist british and their bantaba contributors, the pathetic, anachronistic, blood-sucking monarchy, the premier league and its money-grubbers, the fact it took 100 yrs to put a roof on wimbledon, the 50pence a strawberry, the £3.50 a pint, the £100 a head plus for a half decent meal, the wrong kind of snow on the tracks, the outrageous parking rates and vulturistic parking attendants and their stupid hats, terminal 5 that was a complete fu-k-up, washout july's, massively expensive tube system, and bloody yorkshire pudding as a national dish.
but everyone wants to come here....
you need a sense of humour to understand that. |

Sorry You speak the truth,at least the powers that be in Gambia take firm action,OK sometimes a little too firm, but the plight of normal people goes unnoticed in UK by those in power and everything is geared to "helping" those who are criminals louts and rubbish of society, the latest thing of course is lets take these youths who are convicted of knife crime to hospitals and to prisons just to let them see what they have done and oh yes lets make them intrude on the grief that families who have suffered tragic consequences of dealing with a stabbing assault,oh yes lets put on more advertising on the TV to make people realise that they are doing wrong, what a total load of..! ! ! ! ! ! !.............! (use whatever words here that express your disgust with such namby pamby attidude of our government.) I do expect to have a subsequent posting on this topic by those who actually believe in the "efforts" of the UK government to deal with these terrible events that are occouring daily in the UK. |
