NUCLEAR PHYSICS IN A TEA CUP :

And I 'm still laughing
North Korea 's the most pathetic regime
Even holy Iran appears more dignified
Building illicit nukes
Pretending , arms for food

Would any nation deploy nuclear weapons ?
Would the North even trade
Nukes to our worst enemy ?
I 'm unable to envision any "axis of evil "
Start a nuclear war
Over a survival kit , a foreign policy
Of nuclear physics in a tea cup
Even Iran appears more dignified
Only more scarred by plutonium

And I 'm still laughing hard
What can the North learn from the South ?
From us , even from China and Japan ?
The wisdom of the plow over the sword ?
Maybe nothing ! if wielding arsenals
To guard an ailing pride
That even Marx didn't contemplate

There 's no "axis of evil "
And I 'm still laughing
While Yongbyon explodes
To put food on the table

Personally, I share JFK's wisdom on nukes, i.e. if one nation can have it, all should have it. Going by history, North Korea is forced to believe that America will get back there and reduce them into nothing. North korea's nukes might trace roots to Khan of Pakistan.

It's a shameful act for the exhange of food with abondonement of nukes. It shows lacking in principle over their development of nukes.

Nice read bro Kay!

kay, well, very impressive. i can see a change of posture. nuke is no good. the west stockpile it just to bully, but who knows when they never want any of their sons and daughters to die in foreign far away lands? would there be a nuclear war? it was once used in Japan and korea i believe.
very good warning. the whole nuke debate is base on double standards and all-eyeism.

Kay,

That was a master piece. Let me try as an amateur to appraise the poem.

The poet is in a hilarious mood. This is because the world is going mad over a small issue. Thus the vivid imagery of a 'Of nuclear physics in a tea cup'.
The whole issue is abt nukes and who should own them. Crazy regimes like pyongyang have wasted resources on building these nukes at the expense of proving food for their people. The next on the NOT FIT TO OWN A NUKE, Iran, is more dignified in its quest for nuke power. The Poet played a 'dangerous' satirical ryhme in the words holy Iran which sounds like holy quran.

The Poet asks NOrth Korea, to learn from South Korea, Japan or China. The Poet started the listing with 'us' which is euphemistic. It could refer to the Poet as an American or US as a country.

The Poet ends the poem byspeaking his mind, and that is there is no axis of evil and as he watches Yongyon cooling plant go down in promised exchange for food for North Korea, the Poet cant help but keep laughing.
