have you ever heard of this tree? well, in due course i intend to write some thing on it. mean while i expect janko and kondo to know some thing about it. the myhtical taba konkoron ,in makka kolibantan. the freaful tabou. the town of the marabout, the jabbi clan.
momodou might be too young to know the story of taba konkoron but for the golden oldies like me, it is an interesting anthropological subject.

thanks kaanibaa. but since the topic is very controversial and historically sensitive, i await the opinons of janko, kondo or any one who is familiar with the story.
as the great poet Bob Marley once sang " bend down low let me tell you what i know". so i am waiting for the more learned brothers. kaanibaa you may have heard of some thing about the story. tell us if you do.

Taba Konkorong, in Maka Kkoli Bantang, i believe is a feared place visited by mostly people who have been wronged.

The name certainly brought fears in me as a young boy when we go about our childhood truances. However, the name immediately brought confessions and have settled disputes in villages.

I will let other chip in.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”

toubab, excuse my delay. oversight. the town is not too difficult to find if one is familiar with wulli and sandou. but my detail expanation is for people who don't know the area at all. and also the names of the towns are join together. like saying eastham-plaistow which is different locality in london. i seprate the two for clarity. kolibantan is where the place is.thanks toubab.
