Loppy Juice

There is no need to pump the machine
No cause to swallow growth pills
If you want to get that nice round but
Just buy loppy juice
Drink it twice a day
For a month you get the swell
To fill the tights
Then you can sway in jives
Shaking lovely behind
To the envy of other ladies
The joy of admiring boys
And sugar daddies too
Loppy juice
Is the drink of choice
The chase will begin
You then can chose
Your man of choice
Fill your body glow beautifully
Any dress you wear
Fitting so lovingly
Ah Loppy juice
A wonderful drink

Others believe the advertisement then -was it on senegalese or Gam tv?

Personally, I think it is a marketting tool.

Bro Kanibaa,

I just re-read your poem. Indeed it is a great love poem. Like Kay, I am not too hard on myself, i.e we can all get loose a little bit in language and actions. I am sure the poem is within context. My reference of Uncle Suntou came from the previous poem he complemented you on [ http://www.gambia.dk/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6162 ] where you promised him a 'loppy juice' poem.

I cannot help the laugher but I also believe that everyone understands the poem in its true context here. See, in the 90s, the advertisement was that 'loppy juice' will make the back 'shaking' and 'clapping.' Trust me, people believed it then. Whatever the truth is, one thing I can certainly say, the advertisement increased the sales of loppy juice then. Confidence in itself is beautiful. The loppy prescription was never a mistake.

From your poem, one can easily see how ladies who fought theirs through loppy juice won their battles in terms of competitions for men and their fellows. The poem is very educative, humorous and well constructed.

By chance, do you happen to know where they sell the loppy juice packs? (Jokes!!)

Thanks again!
Dalton

*NB: For those not following, loppy juice was sold in the Gambia in powery form in small packs. You make loppy juice with a cup of cold water and the loppy powder. Shake it well and there you got it.

Don't i just know what you mean Kay, i am familiar with the problem, just didn't know what loppy juice had to do with it. In fact, i still don't know what loppy juice is exactly.

Thanks bro Dalton you make me feel good by your praises and encouragement Ajarama booye ba, Yo Alla aukoma foof ko faldaa, amean barkeh Nalobeh .I read the Gainako and there was a poem was it by you, if the answer is yes , then I duff my hat to you as a poet laureate, a giant and admire your style too. Sister Anna Loppy juice is a cocktail drink sold in powder form packaged in singles . when dissolved in water you get a very good and refreshing beverage. It was very popular in The Gambia. I hope it still is available , like Suntou said there was a publicity about its qualities which among others was that it could help those with tiny buts to gain some more ump in that domain. Hype certainly but it helped the sale as many women then bought the drink as the believed they would gain you know what I mean. Thanks Suntou and all you guys who commented on this poem, Hi am loving it !

LOL! I thought this was an imaginary product in the poem. Kaanibaa, you are also a great poet.

Thanks Kanibaa and Kay! Momodou, i also thought it was an imaginary thing! Well, if i understand you all correctly, i won't have to buy it to get 'amazing' results. I'd better drink a glass of water, to get rid of my 'problem'!
