Cock crows, and we heard the echoes.

The clock is ticking.
Days, weeks, months and years went by fast.
The bell rang many times, and we need a final louder echo.

The guns shall be equated only by the guns.
The struggle is not mere words.
Action counts too.

George Washington drove the British with a weapon;
So is Captain Thomos Sankara;
Mandela supported the repulsive group then.

The ongoing crisis is the sacrifice for freedom.
Some have to go, and then the comforters will come.
The hang is there on the necks.

Action is not violence.
Tension that gives birth to peace will be hailed.
By hook or Crooke, it is one of the ways.

I support any means, though have a first choice.
If he lives by the weapon, it is no excuse not to go by it.
And the fact that he came by the gun, justifies the truth.

Self defense is a positive stance.
If it takes blood, then that’s worth it.
The blood is oozing from the body trunks anyways.

Now, look at the happenings in our tiny little country.
Who says there is peace and justice?
Such are only blind and deaf in their minds.

Greedy administrators will soon find their days.
No wonder Taylor’s capture will make some piss in their pants.
Freedom is better for him than any power or gains?

Democracy is any means for a lasting peace.
Cheap or expensive.
But comes with a prize.

Isn’t that right??

Long live any struggle. “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” the wisdom of Frederick Douglas, when he lashed his master and gained freedom the rest of his life.

The breakers of the Nadd coalition, Hamat and Darboe need to be well guided by their followers to return to Nadd. It won’t be any shame or disgrace, but should such followers come up with some other tactics of down murmur, then the repercussion is for all. In the absence of a way, then it will be any ways. Nadd remains the hope and the vine from the olive branch for all Gambians. It sounds rhetoric to think otherwise, for the genuine.

I look forward to the flag bearer and his team around June/July 2006.

Dalton, this is a great poem . I am impressed by it . But it falls short of your "atomic theory", and I have some issues to address with it . See my next comment on this poem.

hi dalton! talk is cheap and am tied of waiting for the gambian heavenly promised that things will get better and no one ready to sacrifies.before you go to heaven you must die but gambians want to life and keep believing paradise.i`m leading a group of people and we called ourselfs (fisabili lah lilai wara suli) we do or give in the name of god "allah" only.we are not that much in number but we welcome any body who wants to join.now all gambians have to take action by any means necessisary and we have to show the cowards soldiers and their leaders that they don`t know war and the consequensies.we the (fisabililah`s) are ready to support any organisation that want to rescue gambia from the hands of the evils and their defenders.peace

Mr. Jatta,

Good observation, that is, no atomic theory. By now, i am sure people know i belong to the Malcolm X school of thought. I find it hard to beleive that removing this guy through a coup is not justified, though, i don't belive in violence in any way. The man who lives to feed on blood must not be taken lightly. Self defence is hailed by every nation, people and religion. Any effort to take this man out is a positive struggle, and by the way he came by the same gun and lives with it.

In pular, there is saying-that says even your born son, don't twist his hands to pass elasticity limits, cos then when his hands escape from that twist, he will lash you with a speed.

Dembish,
good job with that. Once gainako come operational, and i will sell a lot of your programs. Update us through Batch, or i will mail you a private mail directly. I like ur pieces always.

regards,
Dalton
